ANDY GORAM'S SECTARIAN SHAME – THE PROOF OF THE PAST

On Friday, Keep The Faith published an article entitled ‘Andy Goram – Surviving Bigoted Behaviour', in which we pointed out the absurdity, the farce and the mockery that is Andy Goram being a cosseted, feted and forgiven media pundit.

We reminded Celtic fans (those very few that needed reminding) of Goram's past associations with loyalist murder gangs.

We remembered that Goram wore a black armband in a Celtic versus Rankers fixture days after the death of a convicted loyalist terrorist.

Pertinently, we asked if the authorities and the media would be quite as forgiving, as they have been in the shameful case of Goram, if a Celtic player had such links with the Republican movement, or indeed if your Celtic season ticket would survive such.

We also published an exchange of emails between KTF contributor Malcy and Ewen Cameron, the presenter of the Real Radio Football Phone-In where Goram is employed as a football pundit.

Justifiably incensed by Goram's regular appearances on the Real Radio Football Phone-In, as sponsored by the Daily Record, Malcy wrote to complain, particularly angered as he was by Goram being permitted platform to discuss bigotry in Scottish football.

Ewen Cameron, seemingly indignant, replied that Goram is on the show “to talk football – end of story”!

Cameron also demanded ‘where is the proof' of Goram's shameful past.

Well, Ewen Cameron, Real Radio, the Daily Record sponsors, the owners of Real Radio, here is the proof of Goram's macabre past links with evil. Are you content, as employers, owners and sponsors, to be associated with this man?

Remember also, Bhoys and Ghirls, Goram opines on football matters between 6 and 7pm on weeknights. Kids are listening. Therefore, kids - your kids - can be influenced by this man!

Are you happy about that?
