CREDIBILITY OF CELTIC VIDEO QUESTIONED – RANGERS FANS CREATE FAKE VIDEO
The credibility of the video featuring John Hartson and Stephen Pearson is now being seriously questioned after Rangers fans maliciously created a second video, distributed it widely, then admitted it was a fake, before attempting to remove all mention of the hoax.
The second video, this one featuring John Hartson alone, was circulated on Rangers fans' websites on Saturday.
However, this second video has been manufactured by malicious Rangers fans and is an acknowledged fake. The audio and the video components of the second video do not match.
This revelation completely undermines the authenticity of the original video, which has been eagerly seized upon by the mainstream media.
The second video, a fake, appeared on Follow-Follow on Saturday and has been, Keep The Faith understands, sent to mainstream media outlets, including Real Radio, in an attempt to embarrass John Hartson and Celtic Football Club.
In a thread on Follow-Follow, a Follow-Follow member instructed other Rangers fans on the message board: “Please don't send this clip to any of the Press as it will discredit the authenticity of the first clip.”
This incriminating thread on Follow-Follow has now been erased to prevent scrutiny.
However, the fact that Rangers fans have maliciously created a second video casts serious doubt about the credibility of the original video, which originated on Follow-Follow.
The notorious Rangers website's message board was recently banished from Footy Mad because of the bigoted behaviour of some of its users.
The appearance of the hoax video on the Rangers website that propagated the original video will now have TV and radio channel bosses and tabloid editors fearing the possibility of legal action against them and the consequent wrath of the Courts.
Indeed, a spokesperson for Celtic FC warned: “The Club and the players are considering their legal options.”
As Keep The Faith said on Friday, there are allegations the original video has been tampered with.
