Meanwhile, it has been reported that Aiden McGeady was attacked by Rangers-supporting yobs as the 22-year old Celtic winger left Glasgow's Bamboo nightclub in the early hours of Monday morning.
Aiden was in the company of Scott McDonald, but it was the Irishman who was targeted by the yobs, who reportedly squared up to Aiden and chanted obscenities in his face.
Reportedly a scuffle ensued, in which Aiden defended himself, and Police were called to the 330am incident, but no complaint was made.
A Celtic spokesman confirmed: “The players made the Club aware of this incident on Monday. Aiden has made it clear he'd be more than happy to co-operate with the Police as both players were undoubtedly the aggrieved parties in this unfortunate incident.”
