THE HOLY GOALIE WINS AGAIN

By Mal Content

The SFA has confirmed that Artur Boruc's wearing of a T-shirt, which had the message “God Bless The Pope” and a picture of the late Pope John Paul II on it, was not mentioned in referee Craig Thomson's Match Report of Celtic's 3-2 humping of the Huns.

The Holy Goalie revealed his T-shirt after the final whistle of Sunday's match, provoking apoplexy and fury from the religiously bigoted and culturally intolerant amongst the Huns and the Laptop Loyal.

However, match referee Craig Thomson did not mention the T-shirt, which was provocative only to the bigoted, and therefore there will be no SFA action, which is just as well.

How much more bigoted, parochial and prejudiced would SFA punishment of Artur Boruc make Scotland look in the eyes of the world?

Case closed?

Not that there was any case to answer for anyone of balanced, sane, rational and tolerant mind, I hasten to add.

Perhaps not, as Artur Boruc's T-shirt could still be mentioned in the report from the Scottish Premier League's match delegate Willie McDougall. An SPL spokesman has said the League is still awaiting the delegate report from McDougall, a former SFA security chief and allegedly an uber-Hun

The SPL spokesman said: “We have not received the match delegate's report and it may not come in for a few days.”

And speaking of the unbalanced, insane, irrational and intolerant, the permanently raging inmates of Fuehrer-Fuehrer remain in perma-rage about Artur's “God Bless The Pope” T-shirt, the Huns' perma-rage perfectly illustrating their religious bigotry and astonishing stupidity.

Stephen Smith, a spokesman for the political wing of Fascist-Fascist, or the Rangers Supporters Trust as this Hunnish horde likes to call itself, vented: “This was a premeditated act by Boruc and his behaviour was totally inappropriate.”

Smith fumed: “The man is a maverick and out of control. Something must be done about his actions. Celtic should be making a public statement that they do not condone such behaviour.”

Smith raged: “This was a match viewed by fans all over the world and Boruc has let down his profession.”

With every syllable, the RST demonstrates its credentials to be an integral part of “Scotland's Shame”.
