KEEP THE FAITH'S NOTORIOUS HACKWATCH – WADDELL, TRAYNOR AND RST COMEDY GOLD

By Timothy Gumshoe

In my very humble opinion, this season has the potential to be one of the very best in a while (the 1997/98 season comes to mind).

Younger Tims are beginning to appreciate the power behind the throne in Scottish football as the balls of Wattie and Sir Minty are being squeezed and the shelf upon which the Huns' bottles are perched is getting a weekly shoogle.

Celtic supporters I know who don't like to go along with all the old ‘conspiracy theory' stuff are taking a step back and are looking on in amazement at the BLATANT cheating going on to maximise Rangers' chances of winning this League.

Favours are PUBLICLY being called in by Murray from the SFA and SPL, a national newspaper is being employed as the Rangers' PR machine, referees who as much as give a CORNER to Celtic are being roasted by the media….Operation: Stop Three In A Row.

As we have cuffed the Huns twice on the bounce and went on a (much-belated) surge to the finishing line, the wailing and weeping from the war-room atop the marble staircase is reaching a crescendo – a deafening din. Since the Hibees gave the Huns' nuts yet another wee tweak on Sunday, the temperature and pressure has risen again.

They are absolutely beelin' that the season extension (that they would never ask for) was refused…………..and Sir Minty will be DEMANDING answers (he informs us) at the end of the season.

I said that as soon as the Filth made it to Manchester, the ‘Old Firm' fans would be getting a bashing. My blood will be at boiling point until the Racists v Bigots Cup Final is history, as you can bet your bottom dollar we will be guilty by association from this point onwards. I give you:

“Stone Age Zenit Scum

May 4th

By Gordon Waddell (Sunday Mail)

“We may get fed up with some fans of our two main clubs still living in the 1600s, but we should be grateful for small mercies - at least that's AD.

Compared to Zenit St Petersburg's Neanderthals the Old Firm are a model of tolerance.

When Dick Advocaat tried to sign French star Mathieu Valbuena recently the first question he was asked was "Is he a negro?"

Zenit have never had a single black player and Dick says the fans would not allow him to sign one. Unbelievable!”

Anti-black bigotry versus anti-Catholic bigotry. Which is worse, hating another human being because of his skin colour or because of his religion. Two wrongs don't make a right. He really IS a Hun, is Waddell, isn't he?

Jim Traynor is a two faced git. He wet himself in the press box in Osasuna when the Huns were licking the press box windaes and baying for his blood. Traynor called them for the scum they are, in no uncertain terms:

Traynor, 2nd April 2007:

“Picture the scene: Something like 100 hate-filled throwbacks gather in one section of a stadium - it could be any ground in Scotland or abroad – and start with the sectarian poison.

William of Orange tattooed on their arms starts writhing and twisting like a buckaroo with his white mount moving beneath him as biceps contract and pump furiously.

The FTP brigade, as they have been described by Rangers, are in full, bilious flow.

As usual, there were the offensive sounds decent people have come to abhor. Unfortunately there was no evidence to suggest these chants are belted out by only a handful as some Rangers people would have you believe.

Fortunately for Scotland, they won't be back in Europe for a while after Pierre Webo's second-half goal gave Osasuna a 2-1 aggregate win but it must be said the cops were more than heavy handed. In fact, they seemed to be spoiling for a fight, which was more than could be said for Smith's team.

.They went out of Europe with a whimper. They were hopeless for most of the game although it was tough to watch what was happening on the pitch and at the same time keep an eye on the riot cops.

They surged in several times clubbing everyone within reach. Although the fans who were spewing their sectarian bile probably deserve a good hiding, innocents would also have been taken out.”

Bearly (geddit?) thirteen months later and the Daily Record's main man has received his orders from the Chairman to sell the ideology that the Huns have gone all cuddly, with the Record taking Murray's Winalot to become the OFFICIAL single mouthpiece for the Rangers PR machine……….Remember this when you hand over your money for the rag!

Traynor (or Murray, as it's one and the same thing):

“May 5 2008

There seems to be a underlying reluctance in this country to applaud what Walter Smith and Rangers have achieved, perhaps because of their style of play which isn't the most pleasing on the eye, or simply because it isn't PC to back this club.

More people bought into the Celtic adventure 5 years ago and we have to ask why but so far as I can see Rangers are no different to their ancient rivals and have done as much to clean up their act.”

And these ‘journalists' are at a loss as to why we treat them with contempt? The only difference to the Rangers support of a year ago and that of today is the addition of even more racist and disgusting songs and chants in their odious repertoire……..and the media knows it. The Scottish media were complicit in Scotland's shame for 100 years. Nothing changes.

Traynor (or Murray, same agenda):

“Rangers deserve support from as many of us as possible in this final because they are Scottish and those who would rather see a Russian side triumph might have to take a good look at themselves and consider the possibility that perhaps they have a difficulty accepting the Ibrox club have opened up to all races and religions.”

You know Jim, I DID actually consider the possibility that the Huns have had a Damascene period, until I stood beside them during our two recent victories at Celtic Park. That false impression of change lasted for about as long as it took them to form a choir. They are vile, disgusting bigots, Jim, and you and your selective hearing colleagues are FULLY aware of this.

This fanny seems to get a fair bit of publicity and I'm all for it personally. He's comedy gold:

“David Edgar of the Rangers Supporters Trust:

“A joyous, joyous week! Rangers showed magnificent poise to resist Fiorentina and progress to the Uefa Cup final. Kudos to all for a battling performance, especially the penalty takers.

I thought it was a great result for Scottish football, but after witnessing Scottish football's reaction to it, I'm tempted to say that it was for us and just us. There's no doubt that Rangers' achievement in reaching this final hasn't been met with the same fervour as greeted Celtic's run.

The attitude of Greater Manchester Police has also been pathetic.

Rangers fans have behaved magnificently on our travels this season and deserve to be treated with the respect others enjoy. As for their laughable insistence that fans without tickets should stay at home, I'd like to say that our law enforcement should visit Planet Earth more often.

There will be 100,000 Bears there – deal with it. And roll on next Wednesday – I simply cannot wait!”

Go on, admit it, you laughed out loud there, didn't you?
